Job Description

See beyond the ordinary. Build what comes next.

What if augmented reality could do more than enhance what we see? What if it could help make highly complex medical procedures more precise, intuitive and effective?

We're looking for an AR Specialist with a strong technical mindset who wants to bring augmented reality closer to real-world applications. If you're fascinated by the intersection of optical systems, AR hardware and advanced visualization technologies, this is your opportunity to work on technology with a tangible impact.

You won't simply be working on concepts or presentations. You'll help turn sophisticated technology into practical solutions, collaborating across disciplines to make demanding AR applications work in the real world.

AR-Specialist (w/m/d)

  • Bring AR technology to life: Work hands-on with augmented reality hardware, optical components and visualization systems.

  • Connect hardware and software: Help ensure that AR systems, displays, sensors and software components work seamlessly together.

  • Solve real technical challenges: Investigate performance issues, test components, evaluate prototypes and identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Focus on precision: Contribute to AR solutions designed for demanding professional and medical applications, where image quality, reliability and usability matter.

  • Turn ideas into working solutions: Support the technical implementation, integration and validation of AR technologies.

  • Collaborate and experiment: Work closely with engineers and other specialists to develop, test and refine innovative solutions.

Profil

You might be an experienced AR specialist, an engineer with a background in optical systems, or a technically minded professional who has worked with advanced visualization hardware.

Ideally, you bring:

  • A degree in a relevant technical field or an equivalent practical background.

  • Hands-on experience with augmented reality, smart glasses, optical systems, display technologies or related hardware.

  • An understanding of how hardware and software interact within complex technical systems.

  • A practical, analytical approach to troubleshooting, testing and technical problem-solving.

  • The motivation to explore new technologies and translate technical challenges into workable solutions.

  • Good communication skills in an international working environment.

Experience with medical AR applications, surgical visualization, optical calibration, tracking systems or AR glasses is a strong plus.

Wir bieten

  • Technology with purpose: Contribute to advanced AR applications in a highly specialized medical technology environment.

  • Real technical ownership: Work close to the technology itself, with room to investigate, experiment and make a difference.

  • An international perspective: We welcome applications from qualified professionals across borders.

  • Relocation support: Moving to Austria for the right opportunity? Support with relocation is available.

  • A role shaped around your expertise: We value what you bring to the table and are open to different technical backgrounds.

  • A competitive salary: The gross monthly salary ranges from €5,000 to €7,000, with a willingness to offer above this range depending on the candidate's qualifications and relevant experience.
