Aprico Consultants - Network Proxy Product Owner

Are you a seasoned Network Engineer ready to step up and take ownership in a dynamic, evolving infrastructure landscape? Aprico Consultants is looking for a Network Product Owner to join our client's Operations Team, working in close collaboration with Network Architects and external partners. The consultant will be required to work one day a week in Antwerp, one day a week in Brussels and the other 3 days from home.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong technical knowledge who is now ready to lead, prioritize, and guide.

Your Mission
As Network proxy product owner, you will:

• Take control of the network landscape - both technically and operationally.
• Define and manage priorities, maintain the backlog, and ensure value delivery.
• Collaborate closely with Network Architects on future-proof designs.
• Act as the interface between operations, engineering, and management.
• Lead reverse engineering efforts to MAP out the current environment.
• Drive implementations and manage collaboration with external partners.
• Step into a Team Lead role when necessary to support and motivate the team.

Profile / requirements
You are:

• A networking expert (Cloud, On-premise, Micro-segmentation, Zero Trust) with a broad and deep understanding of modern infrastructure.
• An experienced Network Engineer who has evolved into a more strategic and guiding role.
• A strong communicator who can convince, guide, and align stakeholders at all levels.
• Comfortable taking ownership and responsibility in a Product Owner capacity (Agile mindset)

Requirements:

• Proven experience in enterprise network environments.
• Background in network architecture and engineering.
• Ability to operate across technical and strategic layers.
• Fluent in English (Dutch and/or French are a plus).
