Job Description
About You

Ready to start your career while earning a salary and gaining a professional qualification?

We're looking for someone with potential, not experience. If you're curious, motivated and eager to learn, this could be the perfect opportunity to launch your career in procurement while making a real difference to communities across Great Britain.

Whether you're finishing school or college, considering an alternative to full-time university, or taking your first step into a professional career, this apprenticeship could be the opportunity you've been looking for.

You don't need any previous procurement experience. We're looking for someone with enthusiasm, a willingness to learn and a positive attitude. If you enjoy solving problems, working with people and developing new skills, we'll provide the training, support and mentoring to help you succeed.

Key Attributes
  • Is keen to learn and develop new skills.
  • Has good communication and organisational skills.
  • Enjoys solving problems and finding practical solutions.
  • Pays attention to detail and takes pride in doing a good job.
  • Can build positive relationships with colleagues and external suppliers.
  • Shares our values and wants to make a positive difference.

Most importantly, you'll be excited to learn, ready to embrace new challenges and motivated to build a rewarding long term career.

About The Role

How an organisation like the Mining Remediation Authority purchases the goods, services and contracts it needs to operate is fascinating - and that's what you'll learn about. This apprenticeship will develop your skills in sourcing, purchasing and managing the products, services and contracts that support our mission across England, Scotland and Wales.

You will support the procurement of specialist mining surveys, habitat surveys, emergency response services, professional consultancy support, office services and major construction projects worth millions of pounds. Working alongside experienced procurement professionals, you will gain hands on experience while studying toward your apprenticeship qualification.

You will help ensure the organisation receives the right goods and services, at the right quality, at the right time, while achieving value for money and supporting our environmental and sustainability goals.

Why Join Us?

This is more than just an apprenticeship - it's an opportunity to earn while you learn, gain a recognised qualification and build a career with a supportive and inclusive organisation that makes a real difference across Great Britain.
