The RoleWe are looking for an Apprentice Administator based at our London or Whitstable Offices, Hybrid Working is also available.
Role OverviewThe Apprentice Administrator will provide administrative support to the team while developing valuable business, organisational, and customer service skills through a structured apprenticeship programme. This role offers the opportunity to gain hands on experience in a professional office environment while working towards a recognised qualification.
Key Responsibilities- Provide general administrative support to the team as required.
- Make and answer telephone calls, take messages, and direct enquiries appropriately.
- Respond to emails and maintain professional communication with clients, colleagues and suppliers.
- Accurately input, maintain, and update records, documents and Deltek.
- Prepare, format, and distribute documents, reports, and correspondence.
- Organise and maintain electronic and paper filing systems.
- Schedule meetings, book meeting rooms and support diary management.
- Assist with data entry and reporting tasks.
- Handle incoming and outgoing post.
- Ensure compliance with company and clients policies, procedures and confidentiality requirements.
- Participate in apprenticeship training and complete all required coursework and assessments.
- Provide operational support to the Project Management Team.
- Management of ID&V and Site Managers Passport
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
- Good organisational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Previous experience in an office, customer service, or administrative environment.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Teams and other business systems.
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths, grades 5 or above.
- A willingness to learn.
- Positive and proactive attitude.
- Reliable and dependable.
- Professional and courteous manner.
- Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
