We're hiring an AI Automation Engineer to join a small, highly technical AI team in financial services who are building a brand-new automation tool from the ground up. This is a rare chance to step into a role where your ideas, your engineering approach, and your problem-solving mindset will directly define the outcome.

Why we need you

Right now, critical internal data workflows rely on manual matching, Excel processes, and human-driven calculations. It works - but it doesn't scale, it's slow, and it's time-consuming.

We need you to turn this into an intelligent, automated AI system, capable of reasoning, validating, matching and running calculations without human prompting.

Your experience in agentic AI, LLM-based automation, Python engineering, and end-to-end build work is exactly what will enable us to replace a manual workflow with a robust, smart, production-ready tool.

The impact you'll make

You will:

• Use your Python skills to build an AI-driven automation tool that replaces manual data matching and spreadsheet workflows
• Use agentic AI and LLM-based reasoning to create autonomous workflows
• Design, prototype, iterate and ship - end-to-end
• Collaborate directly with a Head of AI who values independence and technical depth
• Bring engineering discipline to a greenfield automation project
• Create something the entire business will rely on daily
