Salary: £27,431.19 per annum inclusive of London Allowance (pro rata £7,375.40 per annum based on 0.2FTE)

Location: Bloomsbury, London, WC1H 0XG

Hours: 2 hours per day - 8 hours per week maximum (flexible)

About the Role

The role involves providing SOAS students with tailored advice and feedback on written application documents, including CVs, application forms, personal statements, and cover letters for both work and further study. Appointments are 15 minutes long, held between 2-4pm on weekdays in SOAS Careers, located on the lower ground floor of the Paul Webley Wing, and are available both virtually and in person. This is a term-time only role, with hours that may vary throughout the academic year. Advisers are expected to commit to a minimum of one day per week, with flexibility on which day(s) they work, subject to agreement with the line manager. Successful applicants will be required to attend initial training sessions before starting and engage in ongoing training as appropriate. During quieter periods, advisers may also be asked to provide administrative support as needed, at the discretion of the line manager.
