Application Integration Specialist

We are looking for a Senior Integration Engineer or Developer to join our client's team and help drive the evolution of our financial messaging platform. In this role, you will shape integration solutions, enhance system reliability, and ensure smooth communication between a variety of applications.

What You'll Do

• Build and refine application integrations by creating message flows and reusable integration patterns.
• Set up, manage, and automate IBM MQ components
• Investigate and resolve production incidents, working closely with application owners to ensure clean and efficient deployment cycles.
• Review integration designs, provide actionable guidance to development teams, and help elevate implementation quality and delivery speed.
• Lead and contribute to platform improvements, especially in areas related to automation, continuous delivery, and new functionality.
• Partner with architects and teammates to strengthen our messaging infrastructure, optimize internal processes, and support security best practices.

Requirements

• Solid knowledge of SOA, EAI, message-oriented Middleware, and modern integration principles.
• Experience working as an IBM IIB/ACE developer
• Experience in administering IBM MQ.
• Hands-on experience transforming and mapping financial messages (SWIFT, SIC, SECOM, ISO20022), plus a working understanding of FIX
• Strong command of ESQL and at least one other Scripting or programming language (Bash/Shell, Perl, Python, Java), as well as MQ administration commands.
• Familiarity with Linux operating systems and Oracle databases.
