Job Description
AO Spanish Language Specialist, Advocacy Operations

A Transportation Specialist Spanish at AO facilitates the flow of information between different stakeholders and resolves any potential issues with Spanish-speaking Flex Teams that impact DP experience and business continuity.

Key job responsibilities

  • Fluency in Spanish Language (both written and verbal), communication with internal teams (Flex Program, Station OPS, etc.)
  • Ability to work with data using Excel and perform ad hoc reporting and analysis as needed
  • Develop and understand performance metrics to drive business results
  • Scope out business and functional requirements for Amazon technology teams creating and enhancing software systems and tools used by AO
  • Quickly understand business impact of trends and make data-driven decisions
  • Systematically escalate problems or variances in information/data to relevant owners and follow through on resolutions
  • Work within various time constraints to meet critical business needs, measuring activities performed
  • Operate in a 24 7 environment

Skills and Competencies Required:

  • Proficiency in Spanish: B1 and above or BA/MA in French
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
  • Strong business communication skills to interact with stakeholders clearly and concisely
  • Basic knowledge of MS Excel
  • Ability to handle ambiguity, use discretion, and make decisions based on available information
  • Flexibility to work in shifts and various hours

About the team

The Advocacy Operations (AO) team manages large-scale events impacting Flex Delivery Partners (DPs) and provides operational support to stakeholders within and outside Amazon Flex. This support enables stakeholders to run Flex programs while building long-term solutions without negatively impacting the DP experience.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Proficiency in Spanish: B1 and above or BA/MA in French
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing)
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Logistics background
  • 12-24 months of work experience
