We have a fantastic opportunity for the role of Antenatal Clinic Administrator at our Broomfield Hospital site.
The appointed applicant will be responsible for providing a seamless patient experience and supporting midwives and obstetricians under the direction of the Senior Midwife for Antenatal Clinic.
You will coordinate all booking referrals into the maternity service, signposting women into the right community midwifery or out of area pathway, creating the patient contract.
The ideal candidate for this role will be highly organised, reliable, and committed to delivering an outstanding service to our patients.

Main duties of the jobYou will have responsibility for all administration that is required during antenatal midwifery & obstetric clinics.
Provide administrative support to the Maternity Services to include all aspects of antenatal booking and all other administration associated within the antenatal clinic maternity service.
You be expected to have a flexible and 'can do' approach in ensuring the work of the department is carried out in the set timeframe and meet the required high standard.
Possess excellent communication skills, and are organised and assertive.
Have the ability to use your own initiative in the completion of delegated tasks, and to seek advice appropriately.
Undertake any other duties commensurate with grade as agreed and delegated by your manager.
You will be responsible for:
- Booking/reschedule appointments and requesting obstetric ultrasounds
- Organising clinics within Antenatal clinic
- Preparation and organising records
- Adding outcomes to Lorenzo
- Signposting next steps to women

Person Specification Qualifications- English GCSE, NVQ3 or equivalent level of relevant experience
- Previous demonstrable experience dealing with the public in a service environment
- Working knowledge of Lorenzo and Medical Records
- UK Driving Licence
- Proven history of IT literacy esp with Excel and database management
