The leading consultancy firm has partnered with a UK based financial institution and is seeking a skilled Android Developer to join the team. This on site role offers the chance to work within a dynamic IT team, driving a seamless and efficient deployment process. Based in Leeds with two days per week in the office, you'll contribute to creating engaging, user friendly mobile experiences using the latest native Android technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Design and code innovative digital mobile solutions aligned with business goals and KPIs
• Create beautiful, intuitive user interfaces using native Android technologies
• Build, test, and deploy mobile applications to meet evolving business requirements
• Maintain a full CI/CD pipeline, including both unit and UI testing, to ensure product robustness

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Android Developer with a strong portfolio
• Proficiency in Kotlin and a solid understanding of the Android platform
• Hands-on experience releasing apps to Google Play
• Strong knowledge of version control (Git), unit/UI testing (Espresso), and CI/CD tools (CircleCI)
• Experience working with RESTful APIs and integrating them into mobile apps
• Passion for modern Android development, including coroutines and Jetpack Compose
