What You'll Do

As our first Analytics Engineer, you'll play a key role in building the foundation of our data infrastructure. You'll work closely with the Director of Data to design and implement scalable solutions. You'll have a real impact from day one.

• Help define and implement our data warehouse and data modeling layer.
• Build, test, and maintain robust and scalable ELT pipelines from internal and external data sources.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Business stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into well-structured datasets and dashboards.
• Design and build clear, insightful data visualizations and dashboards that empower teams to make data-informed decisions
• Set up monitoring, documentation, and quality checks to ensure data reliability and observability.
• Contribute to the data culture, helping to establish best practices for analytics engineering and data operations.
• Support the adoption of modern data stack tools (e.g., dbt, Airbyte/Fivetran, Snowflake/BigQuery, Looker/Metabase).

What We're Looking For

• 3-4 years of hands-on experience in a data-related role (e.g., Analytics Engineer, Data Engineer, BI Engineer).
• Proficiency in SQL and Python and experience building and maintaining data models using tools like dbt.
• Experience with cloud data warehouses (e.g., BigQuery, Snowflake, Azure Synapse Analytics).
• Familiarity with ELT tools such as Airflow, Fivetran, or Stitch.
• Solid understanding of data visualization best practices and experience with tools like Looker, Power BI, or Tableau.
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving startup environment - proactive, hands-on, and ready to take ownership.
• Proficiency in English. Spanish is a big plus
• Bonus: Exposure to software engineering practices such as version control, automated testing, and CI/CD workflows.
