We're seeking a talented individual to join a high-performing analytical chemistry team based in Hull, delivering critical laboratory support for cutting-edge innovation projects.

About the Role

You will work as part of a dynamic analytical team supporting process development, product innovation, and technology deployment. The role involves conducting high-quality laboratory analysis using a wide array of analytical techniques to generate accurate, timely insights that underpin operational excellence and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory testing following standard and proprietary methods, ensuring quality and timeliness of results.

• Support the safe and compliant execution of lab operations, fostering a strong safety culture.

• Manage and maintain laboratory equipment, including calibration, quality checks, and troubleshooting.

• Assist in identifying and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.

Experience

• Background in industrial or commercial analytical laboratories.

• Proven ability to work independently in a lab setting, with a keen eye for detail and data accuracy.

• Familiarity with risk assessments, COSHH, and safe lab procedures.

• Experience conducting tests using analytical methods and preparing calibration standards.

• Strong understanding of dilutions and calibration techniques (internal/external).
