Job Description

We are looking for a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst to join the Finance department of a leading international player in the insurance sector, based in Brussels.

As part of the FP&A team, you will report directly to the FP&A Manager and collaborate closely with key stakeholders including the CFO, Finance Management Team, Actuarial and Underwriting teams.


Your responsibilities:

  • Prepare accurate financial plans, forecasts, and management reporting;
  • Support the continuous improvement and automation of financial reporting (Power BI, etc.);
  • Assist with the preparation of management, statutory, and regulatory reports;
  • Provide financial analysis and narrative reporting, with a focus on the Property & Casualty and Marine segments;
  • Contribute to strategic finance initiatives aligned with group-wide objectives;
  • Support subject matter experts in adopting and sharing FP&A best practices.


Your profile:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, or Business Administration;
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar analyst role, preferably in a finance function. Insurance industry experience is a plus;
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge and understanding of financial systems (e.g. CODA, Oracle, Power BI);
  • Excellent command of Microsoft Office tools;
  • Fluent in English; knowledge of Dutch or French is a plus;
  • Strong team player with solid communication skills and a proactive, business-oriented mindset (remote work collaboration required).
