A social educator or an 80% assistant at La Yverdonnoise for Childcare is a private non-profit organization that manages 4 daycare institutions, part of the Childcare Network of Yverdon-les-Bains and surrounding areas (REAJY). FYAE has a central kitchen, a service for management and technical support, and a centralized administrative office that supports more than 150 staff who work daily and together to ensure quality care for around 420 children. The Maison de l'Enfance Tom X is located at Rue d'Orbe 19 in Yverdon-les-Bains. The Maison de l'Enfance Tom X accommodates 59 children divided into 3 groups (Nurseries, Walkers, and Big Kids). In order to strengthen our team and ensure the quality of our mission, we are looking for: A social educator or an assistant in a fixed-term position. Sector: Nursery. Main missions include: Ensuring daily care for children in a collective extra-family structure; Supporting the overall development of the child; Collaborating with families and supporting parenting; Collaborating with teams, management, and partner networks; Supporting learners (qualification in child and youth pedagogy is a plus but not mandatory). Required competencies: Professional experience, minimum 2 years, in the fields of childhood and/or special education; Ability to question and evolve the institution's educational project; Ability to manage a group of children and handle its dynamics in a professional, appropriate, and autonomous manner; Analytical and synthesis skills regarding encounters; Comfort working with a multidisciplinary team; Ability to self-evaluate and develop reflective actions; Organized, committed, versatile, flexible, and having a childcare qualification is a plus; Experience in supporting children with special needs is a plus.
