Aspire People are recruiting ALN Teaching Assistants to work in primary schools across South Wales, including Rhondda Cynon Taf, Cardiff, Merthyr, Caerphilly, Blaenau Gwent, Newport, Torfaen, Monmouthshire, and the Heads of the Valleys. You will support pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN), including ASD, helping them access the curriculum and thrive in a nurturing school environment.

Your Role Will Include:

• Working closely with class teachers to support learning
• Supporting pupils 1:1 or in small groups
• Leading learning activities and helping pupils engage with the curriculum
• Taking a full and active part in school life

Requirements

• Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) preferred
• Experience working with pupils with ALN or ASD
• A patient, supportive, and enthusiastic approach
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
