Allocations Coordinator - School of Medicine

Contract Type: Permanent

The School of Medicine, University of Limerick invites applications for the position of Allocations Coordinator (Executive Administrator). The role reports to the Clinical Academic Liaison Manager and is responsible for the management and delivery of all aspects of the BMBS placement matching process (including both graduate entry and direct entry) and the oversight of discipline-specific rotation allocations.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-stakeholder engagement, both internal and external to UL, in relation to clinical placements.
• Manage and deliver the BMBS placement matching process for graduate entry and direct entry programs.
• Oversee discipline-specific rotation allocations across affiliated hospital settings and GP practices.
• Coordinate with UL and affiliated teaching hospitals, including UL Hospitals Group, Portiuncula University Hospital Ballinasloe, Tipperary University Hospital Clonmel, St. Luke's General Hospital Kilkenny, Midland Regional Hospital Portlaoise, and Midland Regional Hospital Tullamore.
