AI Llama Engineering Research Assistant

Contract Role - AI Llama Engineering Research Assistant - London/Hybrid - 3 months Initial - Inside IR35 PAYE

We are seeking an experienced AI Llama Engineering Research Assistant with 2+ years of experience prototyping and testing AI agents and/or LLM models.

Role Overview:
* Job Title: AI Llama Engineering Research Assistant
* Location: London/Hybrid
* Contract Type: Contract
* Duration: 3 months initially, extension likely

Responsibilities:
* Create test prompts for AI agent. Experiment with different prompt formulations to steer AI Agent towards ideal behavior.
* Implement and debug AI agent tool calls in a python/PHP SW stack.
* Assemble high quality prompts to create company internal benchmarks for AI agents similar to MLEBench and BFCL.

Qualifications:
* Research or prototyping experience in machine learning, deep learning, and/or natural language processing.
* Programming experience in Python and hands-on experience with AI agent frameworks such as Model Context Protocol. LangChain.
* Exposure to architectural patterns of large scale software applications.

Preferred:
* Direct experience in generative AI and LLM research.
