We are looking for a highly capable and pragmatic AI Engineer to join Unity Advisory in an internal facing role, working on one of our core AI initiatives that underpins how the firm operates and delivers value.

This is a dedicated engineering focused role responsible for building, scaling, and maintaining AI powered systems used internally across the business. You will work closely with senior leadership, product, data, and engineering stakeholders to design and deliver robust, production grade AI solutions that support how the firm operates and scales.

This is a hands on role suited to someone who enjoys building real systems, solving complex problems, and working at the intersection of AI, software engineering, and commercial impact.

The working environment at Unity Advisory is fast paced and evolving. You will be involved in some or all of the following:

• Design, build, and maintain AI driven applications and services used internally across the firm.

• Develop and deploy AI powered workflows and systems that improve productivity, insight generation, and decision making.

• Work closely with product, data, and domain experts to translate business problems into scalable technical solutions.

• Build reliable services, APIs, and pipelines to support AI use cases in production environments.

• Apply best practices for developing, evaluating, and operating AI systems in live environments.

• Integrate AI solutions with existing internal tools, data platforms, and workflows.

• Ensure solutions are secure, well documented, observable, and aligned with internal governance standards.

• Contribute to architectural decisions and the long term evolution of the firm's internal AI platform.

• Stay current with developments in AI engineering practices and emerging approaches, bringing relevant innovation into the business.

• Strong experience as a software engineer, AI engineer, or applied machine learning engineer working on production systems.

• Experience building end to end applications that incorporate AI or data driven components.

• Solid engineering fundamentals, including:

  • Modern software development practices and patterns

  • Designing and operating APIs and backend services

  • Working with both structured and unstructured data

• Experience deploying, operating, and maintaining systems in cloud or distributed environments.

• Understanding of how to design, evaluate, and operate AI driven workflows in production.

• Strong problem solving skills with the ability to take solutions from concept through to deployment and iteration.

• Comfortable working in an ambiguous, fast growth environment with a high degree of ownership.

• Clear communicator able to collaborate effectively with both technical and non technical stakeholders.

• Experience working with search, retrieval, or knowledge based AI systems.

• Exposure to practices for deploying, monitoring, and maintaining AI systems at scale.

• Background in data engineering, analytics engineering, or applied machine learning.

• Experience building internal platforms, tools, or shared services.

• Familiarity with professional services, advisory, or project based environments.
