AI Assurance & Risk SME - Inside IR35 - Hybrid (London + UK Travel) - 12 Months - Defence/Regulated AI

We're supporting a Defence programme focused on safe and ethical AI adoption. They need an experienced SME to lead assurance and risk management across high-stakes AI/ML systems.

Must-Have:

• Active or recent SC clearance
• Experience assuring AI/ML or conducting ethical reviews in regulated or classified settings

Key Skills:

• AI risk frameworks and technical assurance
• TEVV for AI systems
• Bias detection, explainability, resilience testing
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication

Experience Required:

• AI assurance in Defence or similar domains (healthcare, aerospace, finance)
• MLOps integration
• Technical degree or equivalent
• Leadership in regulated environments
