AI Architect - Development - Glasgow Hybrid - 12 month contract

I have an immediate opportunity for an AI Specialist to join our client in central Glasgow.

This is an opportunity to play a leading role in shaping how AI is Embedded into enterprise-scale systems. Working at the forefront of architecture and innovation, you will design and deliver intelligent platforms, turning advanced machine learning models into production-ready solutions that drive smarter decisions across global operations. You will work closely with expert teams, influence best practices, and help define how AI transforms complex, corporate environments.

• Design, develop and implement scalable AI-driven architecture platforms
• Work closely with data scientists to translate models into production-ready code
• Embed AI/ML solutions to support advanced decision-making and automation
• Drive adoption of AI architecture standards and best practices across development teams
• Lead and participate in communities of practice to encourage innovation and knowledge sharing
• Stay ahead of emerging trends in AI, cloud, security and distributed systems relevant to enterprise-scale environments

Skills required:

• Proven ability to architect and deliver complex end-to-end systems
• Extensive hands-on experience in one or more of the following: JavaScript, Java, TypeScript or Python
• Understanding of transaction processing, risk management and data security within enterprise systems
• Strong problem-solving skills and experience designing innovative solutions in complex environments
• Ability to work effectively with data scientists, translating advanced models into scalable platforms
• Excellent communication skills for presenting architectural solutions to diverse stakeholders
• Knowledge of experimental design, statistical analysis and data-driven decision-making

Desirable skills:

• Familiarity with AI frameworks such as knowledge graphs, natural language processing or recommendation systems
• Experience of working with cloud technologies and distributed systems
• Background in financial services application development or systems architecture
