Job OpportunityWe are seeking a security-cleared Agile System Engineer to join our UK team at Farnborough, working on a major programme supporting UK government defence systems. This role offers a mix of on-site and remote work.
Responsibilities- Work within an Agile team to develop detailed designs and ensure alignment with security architecture.
- Engage with stakeholders, suppliers, and architects to define system requirements and develop models using Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
- Manage compliance assessments and develop detailed engineering artifacts such as designs, failure modes analyses, and security documentation.
- Define architectural solutions, create onboarding designs, and model operational behaviors.
- Conduct trade studies and support milestone reviews.
- Experience with architecture modeling tools (e.g., Sparx Enterprise Architect, MagicDraw Cameo).
- Knowledge of architecture frameworks and languages (e.g., TOGAF, MODAF, NAF, SysML, Archimate).
- Proven success in large-scale, mission-critical systems engineering projects.
- Strong stakeholder management and customer-facing skills.
- Experience with system behavioral modeling, requirements development, and virtualized environments.
- Understanding of security requirements, accreditation processes, and security documentation.
- Knowledge of Air Traffic Management or safety-related systems.
- Experience in service management and regulatory compliance.
- Innovative thinking and effective communication skills.
