Duties

• Providing high-quality, person-centred nursing care within a GP practice
• Assessing, monitoring and reviewing patients' health needs
• Carrying out clinical observations and recording patient information accurately
• Administering medications, injections and vaccinations safely and effectively
• Assisting with chronic disease management and health screening
• Providing wound care and dressing changes
• Carrying out phlebotomy and other routine nursing procedures
• Supporting patients with health promotion, education and preventative care
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date nursing documentation
• Working collaboratively with GPs and other healthcare professionals
• Supporting patients and their families with care and communication
• Maintaining a safe, clean and professional clinical environment
• Adhering to NMBI standards, policies and procedures at all times

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in General Nursing and Active Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI)
• Previous experience in a GP practice or primary care setting desirable
• Experience in phlebotomy, vaccinations, wound care and chronic disease management desirable
• Excellent clinical and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Strong understanding of patient safety, confidentiality and professional boundaries
• Compassionate and person-centred approach to nursing care
• Eligible to work in Ireland
• Registered with Clarity Locums (or willing to register)

Requirements
