Overview

Clarity are looking for an experienced Nurse Specialist (General or Mental Health) to join a multidisciplinary Drug Court team based in Dublin. The role is a great opportunity for agency nurses looking to develop their skills in hospice care. 37.5 hours/week available but part-time hours can be discussed.

Duties

• Managing a caseload of Drug Court participants from referral to programme completion
• Completing comprehensive addiction, physical and mental health assessments
• Monitoring treatment progress, medication adherence and clinical risk
• Participating in court sittings, pre-court reviews and multidisciplinary case conferences
• Providing clinical support, health education and relapse prevention interventions
• Coordinating care with addiction, mental health, homeless and community services
• Advocating for participants and supporting engagement with treatment and recovery pathways
• Contributing to audit, service development and best practice in addiction care

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in General Nursing or Mental Health (Required)
• Eligible to work in Ireland and valid NMBI
• Extensive experience working in addiction services
