Aftermarket Sales Engineer

G2 currently looking for a Freelance Aftersales Engineer to join my client in the Randstad.

Our client is a machinery company that specializes in food processing machinery, they are looking to expand their team for the next 3 to 6 months to help manage the clients that they are dealing with on an international scale.

The role as an aftersales engineer will suit any type of background that involves problem analysis and work preparation. This is because you will be performing problem analysis reports on the machinery and reporting back to the correct teams to overcome the issues. This means that you will need to also take initiative and prepare any orders for spare parts or machinery that is requested by the customer.

START: As soon as possible

Duration: 3 to 6 Months 32hours p/w

Location: The Randstad

Rate: DEO

Aftersales Engineer Requirements

• Aftersales engineering or Field service engineering experience within the Machinery industry
• Food Industry experience is a bonus but not required
• Ability to perform problem solving analysis on the machinery
• Prepare orders for parts and machines in a time efficient manner ready for the clients
• Can communicate with the clients making sure that customer service is maintained at the highest level
• English Speaking is a must, Dutch is a bonus

Responsibilities

For this position, you will be the performing problem-solving analysis on the machinery for the clients across the globe. You will need to be reporting back to the engineering department and the orders department to discuss the situation and issues that the clients are facing and ordering new parts making sure that the client can fully operate. This position is not looking for technical engineering personnel as they will only need you to be working on the problems that the client is facing.

The client has a suggested that they can start taking interviews at the earliest convenience.
