Advanced Specialist, Product Management

• Discover enterprise customer and market problems worth solving
• Frame product bets as testable hypotheses and define the smallest experience to answer key questions
• Design and run interviews, concept tests, prototypes, and pilots with real clients
• Make kill, pivot, or persevere decisions based on evidence and document the rationale
• Identify existing Pearson products for concepts to build on and establish internal partnerships
• Own integration requirements and product fit within client ecosystems alongside engineers
• Build business cases and present product narratives to clients, ELS leadership, and partner teams
• Write interview guides, build models, draft one-pagers, or prototype concepts with AI tools
• Run multiple zero-to-one product workstreams concurrently from concept through validation and potential scale

Requirements

• Senior product management experience with a demonstrated zero-to-one track record, taking products or major bets from concept through validation to launch
• Enterprise and B2B fluency, including experience with procurement, security review, and change management
• Strong experimentation skills, including hypothesis design and qualitative and quantitative validation
• Excellent communication skills, including crisp writing, compelling narrative, executive presentations, and collaboration with engineers
• Ability to run multiple concurrent workstreams through ambiguity
• Technical depth sufficient to discuss APIs, integrations, and system constraints
• Knowledge of the enterprise learning ecosystem, including LMS/LXP/HRIS, skills frameworks, credentialing, and L&D purchasing (nice to have)
• Familiarity with LTI, SCORM, xAPI, SSO, and SCIM (nice to have)
• Formal research training or deep experience partnering with researchers (nice to have)
• Committee, consortium, or industry working-group experience (nice to have)
