Main duties of the jobTypical daily responsibilities include:
- Practicing autonomously across the four pillars of advanced practice: clinical practice, leadership and management, education, and research.
- Using advanced clinical skills to assess, diagnose, treat, and refer patients requiring clinical services.
- Recognizing the need for, initiating, and interpreting relevant diagnostic investigations.
- Identifying when to seek advice from relevant specialties.
- Exhibiting excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills when dealing with patients and carers, making clear decisions confidently, and communicating effectively.
- Maintaining accurate clinical records in accordance with current guidelines.

Annual leave: Starting at 25 days plus 8 bank holidays, increasing with service up to 33 days plus bank holidays. Pro Rata/Per Annum.

Qualifications and experience required:
- Registered Adult Nurse (NMC), Paramedic (HCPC), or Pharmacist (GPhC).
- Registered as an independent non-medical prescriber.
- Masters level education or equivalent.
- Substantial autonomous practice in a multi-professional team.
- Experience with physical examinations and assessments.
- Knowledge of complex and common conditions in primary care for adults and children.
- Experience in nurse-led clinics, emergency care, out-of-hours, or walk-in centres.
- Consolidated independent prescribing experience.
- Minimum of 2 Level 7 modules, including assessment of clinical examination skills and prescribing.
- Autonomous practice in a multi-professional environment.
- Knowledge of primary care conditions for adults and children.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Registered Nurse (NMC), Paramedic (HCPC), or Pharmacist (GPhC), with independent prescribing registration.
This role is subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service check.
Salary: £62,484 to £72,865 per year, Pro rata.
