About the Job

We have an exciting permanent opportunity for an Advanced Nurse Practitioner at The Junction Health Centre, located directly outside Clapham Junction Train Station. The centre is open 7 days a week, 8am 8pm and we are looking for someone to work a minimum Friday 8am 8pm, with the option to take weekend shifts.

You will be a key member of our team, using your advanced clinical skills to provide autonomous care for patients presenting with acute, undifferentiated, or complex conditions, and/or managing long term conditions. This is a unique opportunity to develop your clinical expertise in both urgent care and general practice.

You will be required to work within Clinical Guidelines, Policies and Procedures, utilising expert judgment to work outside these frameworks where necessary. You must be able to prescribe within professional competence.

This role will be working across both general practice and the hub service on an ad hoc bank basis and you will play an integral role in delivering a high quality service to patients.

This role will offer between hours per week.

Responsibilities

As an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner, you will be vital to the unit's success; you will assess, diagnose, treat and discharge patients autonomously each day, order investigations, interpret results and provide an excellent standard of patient care and health promotion to the general public.

What we'll need from you

• Be an autonomous Nurse Practitioner with a patient assessment qualification and recent work experience within a Primary/Urgent Care environment
• Hold an independent prescribing qualification
• Hold an NMC Pin
• Experience in managing long term conditions
