We are looking for an experienced, motivated and enthusiastic Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our friendly and supportive medical practice. Ideally, we are looking for a full time ANP up to 37.5 hours per week.

You will possess the relevant knowledge, skills and qualifications (advanced clinical examination, clinical decision making and non-medical prescribing) that will allow you to autonomously use your high level of clinical judgement to assess and treat patients who are mostly presenting with acute illnesses.

We are a strong and supportive multidisciplinary team, who share a common goal in delivering high quality care to our patients. We are friendly, welcoming and believe in a healthy work/life balance. We have a daily morning meeting as well as ensuring that breaks are taken together. We participate in PLT but also schedule regular in-house training throughout the year.

We have 3 GP partners, 3 salaried GPs, an ANP (the successful candidate would be in addition to this), 2 practice nurses, a sexual health specialist nurse and an admin team of 9. Additionally, through the Primary Care Improvement Plan (PCIP) we have 2 part-time ANP's, a Paediatric ANP, a Mental Health Nurse, an Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioner a Phlebotomy Service and a Pharmacotherapy Team.

We have around 11,000 patients in our city centre practice which is based in purpose built premises in the heart of Stirling. There is free on-site parking and Stirling is accessible through excellent motorway and public transport links.

Salary will be in the region of Band 7.
