About this job

To support Molecular radiotherapy patient pathways from MDT to completion of treatment.

To take lead and undertake the diagnostic procedures undertaken within the department relating to nuclear medicine.

To conduct departmental audit and development primarily for molecular radiotherapy and nuclear medicine patient pathways.

Take part in research and audit as appropriate to area of work to ensure that practice undertaken is evidence based and liaise with other members of the multi-disciplinary team.

To be responsible for supporting the molecular radiotherapy and nuclear medicine service development through the clinical implementation of technical development strategies and/or process change.

To support highly specialised training requirements for molecular radiotherapy and medical physics staff and students with regard to changes within the molecular radiotherapy pathways.

To develop and implement policies and procedures following change of practices and innovation within the molecular radiotherapy and nuclear medicine service as required To assist the nuclear medicine manager in the implementation and management of change within the service.

To maintain competence as a clinical Therapeutic radiographer by participation in routine radiotherapy work as required.
