Tempting Recruitment are working alongside our client, a Local Authority, who are looking for a Adult Social Care Solicitor to join their team in South West London.

Position: Adult Social Care Solicitor

Rate: £54,000 - £62,000

Location: South West London (Hybrid - 1 day per week in office)

Work Type: Permanent

Job Description

• Carry an extensive caseload of complex and sensitive matters within Adult Social Care.
• Provide effective and timely legal advice to directors, senior managers and officers across the local authority.
• Where relevant, prepare and process all matters to relevant to any proceedings before court, public enquiries or arbitration.
• Supervise and support junior members of staff.

Successful Candidate

• An experienced solicitor with background experience with a Local Government.
• Experience in Court of Protection as well as the Care Act and Mental Capacity.
• Excellent communicator, both verbally and non-verbally.
• Able to work effectively under pressure.
