Adult Social Care Lawyer

Overview

A local authority based in North London is seeking an Adult Social Care Lawyer for an initial period of three months.

The successful Adult Social Care Lawyer will join the councils Safeguarding Team to undertaking the full remit of work. Your work will include: Court of Protection, DOLs, S21A applications, safeguarding, homelessness, care act, education, Judicial review matters, leaving care rights, s17 Children act, Mental Health Act and other types of adult social care work.

Responsibilities

• Join the Safeguarding Team to undertake the full remit of adult social care work, including Court of Protection, DOLs, S21A applications, safeguarding, homelessness, care act, education, Judicial review matters, leaving care rights, s17 Children Act, Mental Health Act and other related matters.

Requirements

• Must be a Solicitor, Barrister or Fellow of CILEX with a current practising certificate.
• Office attendance 2 days per week.
• Full-time role for 35 hours per week with a salary of £34.04 PAYE or £42.46 umbrella.
• Urgent role; candidates available on no more than 2 weeks' notice preferred.
