ADR Driver Training Specialist (Regional)

Role Purpose

ADR Driver Training Specialist (Regional) is a role focusing on ensuring drivers operate safely, compliantly, and efficiently across the North Region fleet.

Key Responsibilities

• Recruitment and Onboarding: support hiring process and deliver 3 day Driver Induction.
• Ongoing Driver Training: provide regular refresher and mode training.
• Record Management: maintain driver competence records using Express Class.
• Post Incident Support: offer reassessment and retraining after incidents.
• Driving Performance Reviews: analyse driving data with management to identify support needs.
• Behavioural Interventions: conduct targeted support for drivers requiring behavioural improvements.
• Continuous Improvement and Development: enhance training delivery, optimise driver learning, and pursue personal professional development.

What We're Looking For

Minimum 3 years HGV driving experience, including multiple HGV modes.

Valid Class 1 HGV licence, DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.

Valid ADR qualification with Waste vacumn tanker experience.

Proven experience in driver training and/or transport roles.

Organised, proactive, and committed to continuous improvement.

Strong working knowledge of driver legislation and health & safety requirements.
