Job Description

Our client, is a leading international financial services organisation, operating at the heart of European capital markets. Due to maternity leave, they are seeking an Admissions Executive -Bonds & Funds to join their Primary Markets Admissions team on a contract basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced legal or financial services professional with strong analytical and communication skills to work within a highly regulated capital markets environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and approving listing and trading applications while liaising with legal firms, listing agents, financial institutions and regulatory bodies. The role offers the opportunity to work within an international, diverse and dynamic team and to contribute to the development of transparent and sustainable capital markets.

Total Package: Up to €77k

Duties

  • Apply Exchange and EU regulatory standards to listing and trading applications in a robust, timely and consistent manner.
  • Undertake the second review and approval of applications from companies seeking admission of debt and fund securities to listing and trading on markets.
  • Liaise with listing agents, legal firms, service providers and international financial institutions on matters arising from listing applications.
  • Liaise with the Central Bank regarding regulatory matters relating to listing and the Prospectus Regulation.
  • Supervise and provide guidance to junior staff within the team.
  • Support policy development, including rule books and the delivery of regulatory solutions to customers.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of regulatory solutions within the Primary Markets function.
  • Deliver a positive and differentiated customer experience at all times.
  • Contribute to projects and initiatives supporting the continued development of efficient, transparent and sustainable capital markets.

The Person

  • Previous senior-level experience within a legal, financial services or transferable professional environment.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Business or a related discipline.
  • A good understanding of capital markets and debt and fund securities. This is a MUST
  • Knowledge or experience of EU securities legislation and listing rules would be advantageous.
  • Experience advising on or preparing prospectuses, listing particulars or other documentation supporting listing and trading applications would be advantageous.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Experience or familiarity with artificial intelligence (AI) tools or processes would be advantageous, together with an interest in leveraging technology to improve workflows.
