The Administrator, based in Plymouth, provides essential support within a specialist healthcare team. This permanent, full-time role offers a salary of £24,823 per annum, with working hours from Monday to Friday, choosing between an 8:00am to 4:00pm or 9:00am to 5:00pm shift. The position involves managing administrative duties, maintaining precise ECG and Holter monitoring records, and liaising with clients. The successful candidate will work within strict quality procedures and Good Clinical Practice guidelines. Key tasks include accurate data entry and ensuring the efficient delivery of services to uphold high standards of patient care. We are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Administrator to join our clients Remote ECG Services team. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a specialist healthcare environment, providing essential administrative support to ensure the efficient delivery of services and the highest standards of patient care. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of administrative duties, data management and client liaison activities, working within strict quality procedures and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines.
Key Responsibilities- Provide administrative support to the Remote ECG Services Department.
- Accurately enter and maintain ECG and Holter monitoring data.
- Carry out quality control checks and ensure data accuracy.
- Maintain filing systems and departmental records.
- Handle incoming telephone calls and make outbound calls as required.
- Produce and maintain spreadsheets, databases and other documentation.
- Complete daily and weekly departmental checklists.
- Liaise professionally with clients, healthcare organisations and external stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) standards.
- Safeguard confidential and sensitive patient information at all times.
- Undertake any other duties appropriate to the role.
- Previous administrative experience.
- Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Good literacy and numeracy skills.
- A professional, conscientious and proactive approach to work.
- Experience within a healthcare or clinical environment would be advantageous but is not essential.
