Admin Assistant

Location: HanworthSalary: £26,500 per annumContract Type: Full-Time, PermanentHours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm

I am recruiting for a reliable and enthusiastic Admin Assistant to join my clients' small, friendly team in Hanworth. This is a varied role that combines office-based administration with some warehouse and order fulfilment duties, making it ideal for someone who enjoys a hands-on approach and is happy to support wherever needed.

As a small business, teamwork is at the heart of what they do. They are looking for someone who is flexible, proactive and willing to roll up their sleeves during busy periods to help the business succeed.

About the Role

You will be responsible for supporting the team with customer orders, processing invoices, preparing orders for dispatch and ensuring smooth day-to-day administrative operations. The role also includes occasional warehouse duties, stock handling and packing products.

Please note that additional paid overtime will be required during peak trading periods, particularly in the weeks leading up to Christmas. All office staff are also expected to undertake occasional early shifts (5:00am start, 1:30pm finish) to provide holiday cover.

Key Responsibilities

  • Processing customer orders received by telephone, email and website
  • Ensuring all orders are accurately recorded and completed using company systems
  • Preparing, packing and dispatching customer orders
  • Producing and maintaining all associated paperwork
  • Monitoring stock levels and undertaking stock checks
  • Supporting effective stock rotation and maintaining a clean, organised stockroom
  • Checking stock quality, dates and stock codes
  • Raising customer invoices and maintaining accurate filing systems
  • Receiving and unloading deliveries with colleagues
  • Booking customer deliveries through courier partners
  • Labelling caviar and other food products in accordance with company procedures
  • Monitoring and recording fridge and freezer temperatures
  • Providing general administrative support as required

About You
