We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for an on-site Administrator to join our Ministry of Justice (MoJ) team in HMP Long Lartin.
The standard hours of work are 39 hours per week, Mon - Fri 8am - 5pm with an hour earlier finish every Friday!
The base salary is between £27,426 - £28,304 dependant on experience.
The Administrator plays an important part in ensuring the planned and reactive maintenance work within the prisons is carried out in a safe, compliant and timely manner.
What you will do:- Process and handle confidential information with discretion.
- Responsible for ensuring H&S standards are achieved across the contract.
- Assist with the delivery of services to the client using a case management system.
- Receive and disseminate information to other team members to ensure service delivery.
- Share information to ensure HMPS needs are met. Work with HMPS on site vetting team to aid in the onboarding of new starters.
- Input to and maintain spreadsheets/databases/systems and produce and collate reports.
- Raise purchase orders and arrange payment of invoices.
- Support both local and business zero carbon programmes, working towards zero carbon in a strategic and lean manner where appropriate.
- Take direction from Site Manager and wider team members.
- Handle all other reasonable requests as determined by your line manager.
- Experience/use of Microsoft packages/IT literate.
- Excellent ability to manage timekeeping and prioritise workload.
- Able to develop and maintain good working relationships.
- Familiar with/exposure to management systems or other similar data entry and reporting database applications.
Prison Security Clearance will be required (Amey will support you through this process).
