Job Description
Administrator 
The closing date is 21 April 2026
This is a fixed term contract expiring on 30 June 2026.
Responsibilities- Greeting service users and professionals, answering phones, monitoring an email account for work and processing messages appropriately.
- Ordering, booking appointments and transport, updating clinical systems.
- Covering reception or other wards and performing general administrative duties.
- Using Microsoft Office packages - essential - and full training on the Trust's database system.
- Working as a member of the Directorate's Administration Service to provide a high quality and efficient service and to support other areas as requested.
- Operating as a centralised administration service to support clinical services and functions within the Trust's localities.
- Ensuring the timely and accurate recording of all activity across services using Trust information systems.
- Providing cover for absences across all services and locations; occasionally relocating to provide this cover.
- Working on a rota system to cover core office hours where appropriate.
- Maintaining safeguarding confidentiality - a pre requisite for every Administration Assistant / Receptionist.
- Providing administration duties on behalf of these services as required.
- Good standard of general education.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of Trust ITT systems and software packages, including Mobius, QFlow and SystmOne.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role.
- Good oral communication skills and fluency in English.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and a Disclosure and Barring Service check (formerly CRB) is required.
