Freedom Group have a great opportunity for an Administrator to join our team based in Basingstoke. This is a key role supporting the day-to-day operations of our office and field teams, ensuring smooth coordination across projects and compliance with internal processes.

You'll be working closely with site managers, project managers, and support teams to manage documentation, systems, and logistics that keep our operations running efficiently.

Some of the key deliverables in this role will include:

  • General administrative duties and day-to-day office management.
  • Spreadsheet and calendar coordination.
  • Ordering and tracking tools, equipment, and PPE.
  • Raising and managing purchase orders and invoices.
  • Supporting Street Works permitting and defect management (training provided).
  • Opening, closing, and monitoring street works notices.
  • Printing and organising CDM packs.
  • Supporting Site Managers/PMs with CCPs and utility drawings.
  • Inputting and submitting timesheets.
  • Organising training and renewals; uploading certificates and maintaining records.
  • Managing Freedom inductions, competencies, and SSE authorisations.
  • Updating planners, submitting KPIs, and raising CCFs.
  • Supporting IT queries and raising support tickets.
  • Training new starters on internal systems (e.g. Focal Point).

What we're looking for:

We're looking for a highly organised and proactive individual with strong communication skills and a willingness to learn. Ideally, you'll have:

  • Good IT skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience working on SSE systems (desirable).
  • Experience with Street Works permitting systems (desirable).
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently.
  • A positive, team-oriented attitude.
