Job Description

Administrator Oxford Hospital Radiology Full time Permanent contract £25,545.00 per annum 37.5 hours per week

Our Radiology Department currently have an opportunity for an Administrative Assistant . Continue your journey with us whilst we'll support you to be your best.

Our hospital is based within a stone's throw of the historic City of Oxford, a world renowned centre of excellence for surgical and medical expertise. We are proud of the wonderful environment and team we have established, providing our patients with first class care. We operate 6 well equipped operating theatres with 64 well-presented en-suite rooms across 2 floors.

Responsibilities
  • Use your empathy and customer service skills to build positive relationships.
  • Put people at ease when they visit your department.
  • Answer the phone, dealing with enquiries and booking appointments.
  • Welcome patients, in person, and directing them to the appropriate waiting rooms.
  • Help the department run smoothly by preparing clinical paperwork and referral forms.
Required Skills
  • Great communication skills.
  • The ability to explain sensitive or complicated information in a clear, sympathetic and easily understood way.
  • Ideally, experience of working within Healthcare administration or a relevant reception environment.
  • Good IT and keyboard skills.
