We are seeking a highly motivated individual to work as an Administrative Assistant supporting the Early Intervention Psychosis (EIP) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) Services covering the CTM region.
The Services consist of multidisciplinary professionals - Consultant Psychiatrist, Psychologists, Mental Health Nurses, Occupational Therapists and Support Workers. The Administrative Assistant will provide effective administrative support to aid the efficient running of the EIP Team and DBT Service.
The postholder will work independently, managing their own workload without supervision. The base location is at Quarella Rd, Bridgend, with travel to different Health Board sites as required.
Welsh skills are desirable (Level 3 - speaking & listening, equivalent to CEFR B2 or above). This is an advantage but not essential.
Main duties- Provide a comprehensive administrative service to support the EIP and DBT Services covering the CTM region.
- Support clinicians and practitioners with day to day running, process referrals, manage appointments, produce letters and reports.
- Oversee and maximise use of data collection software, collate and prepare performance data, support managers in data and performance management.
- Good standard of secondary education; GCSEs C grade or equivalent.
- NVQ III in Business Administration or willingness to work towards.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to transfer IT skills to new applications.
- Medical terminology.
- Knowledge of WPAS, FACE & NWIS IT systems.
- Previous all round office experience.
- Experience using databases.
- Experience in establishing new systems of work.
- Experience working in the NHS or a similar environment.
- Welsh speaking and listening skills at Level 3 or above, or willingness to achieve.
- Awareness of confidentiality; ability to work within appropriate boundaries.
- Good judgement when handling enquiries and problems.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a challenging environment.
- Flexible approach to work and duties to meet service needs.
- Promote and uphold CTMUHB values and behaviours.
- Willingness to travel across CTMUHB sites in a timely manner.

Salary£26,300 to £27,890 a year (pro rata)
