Job Description

Fortius are now hiring a Surgical Administration Supervisor, to work on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract.

This position is based at their hospital in Marylebone, London.

This is a Monday - Friday on-site role, requiring presence every day.

Overall Purpose:

The Surgical Administration Supervisor oversees the coordination and management of clerical duties for Fortius Surgical wards and theatre administrative teams.

This role suits individuals who are adaptable, proactive, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment. The supervisor acts as the key liaison between clinical teams, bookings, and administrative teams, leading the day-to-day operations of the surgical wards across both sites.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Previous senior experience in customer service and/or administration roles
  • Experience managing a team
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Healthcare sector experience
  • Organized with excellent time management skills
  • Ability to prioritize in a busy workload without supervision
  • Experience with patient management systems
  • Polite and helpful telephone manner
  • Flexible and adaptable to a high-paced environment
  • Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook
