Join Our Client's Criminal Fines Collection & Enforcement Team in Runcorn!
Are you passionate about delivering excellent customer service and supporting the justice system? Our client, a key department within HM Courts and Tribunal Service, is hiring for a full-time temporary Administration Officer in Runcorn. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the effective enforcement of fines and financial penalties, ensuring justice is upheld.
What you'll be doing:- Handling a variety of telephone enquiries with empathy and professionalism
- Creating and updating records accurately on internal systems
- Data input and drafting standard letters and court documents
- Assisting court users with general queries
- Providing a helpful, prompt, and polite service, ensuring a "right first time" approach
- Supporting other administrative tasks as needed
- Strong administration skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to follow established processes and instructions
- Empathy and problem solving skills to support customers in stressful situations
- Ability to work scheduled hours between 9:00-17:00, Monday to Friday
- Location: Runcorn
- Contract: 3 months, with potential extension
- Hours: 37 per week
- Pay rate: £12.86 per hour
- Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00-17:00
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and processes
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Experience with data entry and Microsoft Office
- Weekly pay, holiday entitlement, and pension scheme
- Accessible location by car, train, or bus
