The roleThe role of the Administration Manager is to help secure our members' future by leading the the core admin teams to deliver a member first and high quality administration service to the Trustees, employers and our members. This role will be responsible for ensuring all Admin teams (retirements, transfers, bereavements) are operating effectively, delivering a right first time service, meeting both the SLA's and member first measures and ensure that the ways of working are embedded to deliver high performance. Using MI and operational insights, this person will have a clear understanding of the resource levels required in your teams and proactively manage any resource challenges to minimise impact on service delivery.This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship. The personThe successful candidate will have demonstrable experience of successfully running operational teams within a service sector environment, ideally within financial services. You will also ideally have experience analysing MI to ensure the workload position of your teams is fully visible at all times, and any challenges are highlighted and escalated where needed. You will be comfortable in making sound business decisions and will have previously managed and motivated teams throughout change initiatives, supporting the ethos of continuous improvement.As Administration Manager you will have a passion for delivering excellent service for members. You will look to effectively build meaningful and effective relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders across Railpen and with your direct reports. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are key for this role, along with the ability to demonstrate resilience when faced with challenge.
