Administration Finance Assistant - South Bersted CE Primary

About Us

We are looking for a self-motivated, flexible, adaptable and well organised person to join our friendly school team, to start Monday 29th June 2026, or as soon as possible thereafter. Duties include: maintaining the School Fund account (Tali software), providing administrative support for the provision of hot meals, admissions, extra-curricular activities, maintaining the school website/social media sites, general clerical support, answering the phone and taking messages, meeting and greeting all visitors.

Job Details

Salary: WS04 (SCP 5) £25,583 pro rata (£13.26/hour).

Actual salary: £14,560

Contract Type: Permanent

Working Pattern: Monday-Friday, 10.00am-3.30pm, Term Time Only

Location: South Bersted CE Primary School, Church Lane, Bognor Regis, West Sussex, PO22 9PZ

What You Need to Succeed

The successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate the following abilities:

• A flexible and adaptable approach
• Good team working and communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure, prioritise workload and use your own initiative
• Good IT skills (familiarity with Microsoft Office is essential)
• An ability to empathise with children and parents
