This position could be combined with our other vacant position for CLERK TO GOVERNORS for a suitable candidate; please let us know you wish to be considered for both positions.
Due to retirement we are looking for an addition to our Office Team to support with administration and finance.
The successful candidate's primary role will be the first point of contact for visitors to the school, answering the telephone and following up enquiries as appropriate. You will be responsible for providing a high standard of administrative support, including pupil data and school communications to assist in the smooth running of all school activities, including the ordering of school dinners and school visits.
You will undertake some cash collection duties including the recording of all monies received and balanced and resolving any routine anomalies. You will also prepare and process orders, resolving any routine issues that arise to ensure that stock levels are maintained and effectively maintain electronic and manual records.
In addition to this, our admin team also provide first aid support in school to our pupils, for which training would be provided, if required. Applicants must have excellent communication skills and a professional, but friendly demeanour. Candidates should have the ability to work under pressure and use your own initiative, along with a positive approach, patience and sense of humour!
