The Senior Medical Director (SMD) provides senior medical administrative input for strategic and operational decisions within the Executive Medical Group, aligning with the organization's vision and values. The SMD leads Chiefs of Staff, Department Heads, and Medical Directors across Salmon Arm, Revelstoke, and Vernon, enhancing governance, leadership, and physician engagement to improve medical care quality. Responsibilities include fulfilling deliverables with the Executive Medical Director, participating in meetings, and managing a workload of at least 7.5 hours per day, 2 days a week, for 46 weeks annually. The role also involves administrative on-call duties and other responsibilities as assigned.
