We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Band 4 Admin Supervisor to join the East Community Mental Health Team. The role will mainly focus on providing administrative support to clinical teams, facilitating their work and ensuring smooth operations.
Line management of administrative staff, including performance management, training and development, and allocation of tasks and workload effectively within the team, taking into account individual skills and capacity.
Establishing and maintaining efficient administrative processes and procedures, ensuring compliance with policies and standards.
This is a front facing role that will require working with the team at Bitterne Park Medical Centre. You must remain calm in a busy, dynamic environment, using initiative to formulate and implement solutions where needed.

Main duties of the jobThis is an exciting and challenging role for a self motivated individual who can demonstrate good leadership and organisational skills, be friendly and flexible, and communicate effectively with staff, patients, and other stakeholders.
You will need to work accurately to deadlines, sometimes under pressure, use your own initiative, and prioritise workloads, addressing administrative issues and finding solutions to ensure smooth operations.
You will provide a range of administrative functions, identify areas for improvement in processes, and implement changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Provide cover for administration staff within the team and support the wider administration service through cross cover arrangements as required.
The successful candidate must have excellent time management skills, a good knowledge of IT systems, and ability to manage data and information with accuracy and confidentiality.

Qualifications- NVQ Level 3 in Administration, BTEC or equivalent level knowledge.
- GCSE in English and Maths.
- Competency in a range of computer software.
