Job Description
Admin Officer - Nuneaton County Court

Location: Nuneaton County Court, Warwickshire Justice Centre, Vicarage Street, Nuneaton CV11 4WX

Hourly Rate: £13.25 per hour

Working Hours: Full time, Monday to Friday, 9AM - 5PM (37 hours per week)

Contract Duration: Immediate start until 30/09/2026, with potential for extension

Our client, a reputable organisation within the public sector, is seeking a dedicated Administration Officer to join their team in Nuneaton. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience working in a dynamic environment supporting the judiciary.

What you'll be doing:
  • Handling general administrative tasks to support court operations
  • Data input and management using Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Assisting with hearings via Cloud Video Platform, MS Teams, and other audio/video tools
  • Producing court orders and managing correspondence using bespoke court systems
  • Distributing papers and documents to relevant parties
  • Managing telephone enquiries and providing support to colleagues
  • Completing various documents, including letters, forms, applications, and records
  • Operating office equipment efficiently
What you'll bring:
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to support different administrative needs
Additional information:
  • Basic DBS clearance (to be applied for by Brook Street upon successful application)
  • Full training provided to ensure you are confident in your role
