Job Description

Chery Automobile Co., Ltd. is a leading Chinese automobile manufacturer, founded in 1997 and headquartered in Wuhu, China. With a strong focus on independent innovation, Chery has established global R&D centers, including the Chery Spain R&D Center located in Barcelona, to support its international strategy and develop cutting-edge automotive technologies for the global market.


Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day administrative operations of the R&D center, including office management, supplies, vendor coordination, and facility maintenance.
  • Manage HR-related administrative work, such as employee onboarding/offboarding, contract documentation, leave tracking, and staff welfare programs in collaboration with HQ.
  • Support financial administration, including petty cash management, invoice collection, expense reimbursement coordination, and liaising with local accounting/tax partners.
  • Handle external coordination with local service providers, landlords, government offices, and business partners.
  • Organize internal meetings, company events, and logistics for visits from HQ or other branches.
  • Ensure compliance with local laws and corporate policies, including data protection, health & safety, and administrative reporting.
  • Assist in preparing reports and documentation as required by the global HQ and management.
  • Supervise junior administrative staff if applicable.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in administrative or office management roles, preferably in international or R&D organizations.
  • Fluent in Spanish and Mandarin
  • Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
  • Familiarity with Spanish HR regulations, tax practices, and office operation standards.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and common office software.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently in a multicultural environment.
