  • Salary: £25,583 - £25,989 per annum

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Admin Assistant to join our fantastic team at Pear Tree High School.

We are looking for a highly organised and motivated individual for an Administrative Assistant to join Pear Tree High School, a welcoming and inclusive school committed to supporting pupils, staff and families.

This is a key role within the school office, providing high quality administrative support and contributing to the smooth day to day running of the school.

Main purpose of the job:

  • To provide comprehensive administrative and financial support to the school
  • To support the Senior Leadership Team with administrative tasks
  • To assist with the organisation, documentation and minute taking of Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) meetings
  • To contribute to the efficient running of the school office
  • To work collaboratively with staff and parents to support pupils and the wider school community
About the Candidate
  • Experience of general clerical, administrative and financial work
  • Good numeracy and literacy skills
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage your own workload
  • Confidence using ICT systems, including Word, Excel and databases
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships
  • Accuracy and attention to detail, particularly when handling data and financial information
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility and a proactive approach to work
  • A commitment to safeguarding, equality and supporting pupil wellbeing
  • Willingness to undertake first aid training
